At Shipping Container Homes Store, we are committed to delivering
your shipping container safely, securely, and on time anywhere in
Australia.
Order Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment
confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or Australian public
holidays will be processed the next business day.
Shipping Destinations
We ship to all Australian states and territories – NSW, VIC, QLD,
WA, SA, TAS, NT, and ACT. International shipping is not available
at this time.
Shipping Methods & Carriers
Containers are delivered using specialised tilt-bed, side-loader,
and flatbed trucks operated by our certified Australian logistics
partners. The delivery method depends on container size and your
location.
Estimated Delivery Times
Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane Metro: 5–10 business days
Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Canberra Metro: 7–14 business days
Darwin and Northern Territory: 14–21 business days
Regional and remote areas: 10–28 business days
Express Delivery: Available in select metro areas – contact us for pricing
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on:
• Container size and weight
• Distance from our nearest Australian depot
• Accessibility of your delivery address
• State/territory regulations
Exact shipping rates (including GST) will be provided at checkout or
in your custom quote before payment.
Delivery Requirements
To ensure smooth delivery, please provide:
• At least 9m of straight clearance for the delivery truck
• Level ground for container placement
• An adult (18+) present to sign for the delivery
• Any required council permits
Order Tracking
Once your container is dispatched, you will receive a tracking
number and estimated delivery window via email and SMS. You can
also contact our support team at info@shippingcontainerhomes.store
for updates.
Failed Delivery
If delivery cannot be completed due to inaccessible location,
missing council permits, or absence of the buyer, redelivery
fees may apply.
Damage During Transit
All containers are inspected before dispatch. If your container
arrives with visible transit damage, please:
1. Note the damage on the delivery receipt
2. Take photos immediately
3. Contact us within 24 hours at info@shippingcontainerhomes.store
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the
Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or
refund for a major failure and compensation for any other
reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
